Challenge

Strong artisan impact but limited visibility and growth infrastructure

Solution

Developed a sustainability and digital growth strategy to strengthen operations and storytelling

Layla partnered with a women's empowerment nonprofit that supported artisans through meaningful community-based work but lacked long-term sustainability and digital visibility. After evaluating the organization's operations, branding, and supply chain, she identified gaps limiting growth and scalability. Layla delivered a strategic report outlining recommendations for sustainable operations, artisan training investment, production documentation, and digital storytelling. These insights guided the nonprofit's next steps, informing the launch of a new website and a dedicated e-commerce platform designed to communicate mission, impact, and artisan stories more effectively.

The Visionary Behind It All

MEET THE FOUNDER

Driven by passion for empowering the next generation of changemakers

Background

Aishani Sheth

is the Founder and Lead Instructor of Consult for Impact.

MBA from

Serves as interviewer for Columbia MBAs

Only Indian scholar selected for the prestigious EDGE program (Enhancing Development of Global Entrepreneurs), funded by Japan's MEXT

National-level badminton player with a love for wildlife safaris and pizza

Designing Experiences That Truly Matter

Mentoring Students to Turn Curiosity into Real-World Impact

I've always been drawn to big challenges and structured problem-solving. Early on, I led education initiatives that mobilized millions in funding—improving schools across India and expanding access to quality education for over 250,000 underprivileged children. I later worked with the Government of Okushiri Island in Japan to develop long-term economic revival strategies. Across these experiences, one lesson became clear: thoughtful strategy and disciplined problem-solving can drive real, lasting change.

My career has since spanned leading billion-dollar M&A deals, expanding financial inclusion through fintech, and advising investors on impact-driven strategies. Regardless of the context, the same tools—consulting frameworks, data, and clear decision-making—proved essential. Yet I noticed a gap: high school students rarely get opportunities to apply these skills to real-world social challenges.

That gap led me to found Consult for Impact—a platform where ambitious students work directly with nonprofits in developing countries, applying strategic thinking to meaningful problems. Whether refining outreach strategies or strengthening financial sustainability, students experience firsthand how consulting and problem solving can be a powerful force for social good. This is where young changemakers begin turning insight into impact.

~

I believe every young person has the potential to create meaningful change. Our program exists to unlock that potential and provide the mentorship, resources, and opportunities needed to turn passion into impact.
